When animal manure odor is not controlled, it can give off a very strong odor, which is mostly caused by high ammonia levels. When TRIUNE is applied, it reacts with the bicarbonates in the manure and stirs up the anaerobic atmosphere that manure sits in. Its negatively charged molecule disperses through the lagoon or pit, splitting the ammonium bicarbonate and attaching to the positively charged ammonium that is either floating freely or attached as a bicarbonate. Once TRIUNE attaches to ammonium, it can reduce total ammonia levels by more than 50%.
